I am talking about the new media planning tool introduced by Google. It is named as Double Click Ad Planner. The tool gives the insights of the placements best for your business by site and by audience. It is a free tool you have to log in with your Google accounts logins and start using it:-

· Enter your current media plan(Your business/product type and a little description about it).

· If you are ready with the placements you want to put your ads in, then 'Search by Site' page is for you. Just type in the placement url and the tool provides all the statistics and graphs for you to get an exact insights of that url.

· Google have introduced a Unique Visitors (estimated cookies) and a Unique Visitor (user) by which you can have a clear picture of the unduplicated visitors to a particular site over a specific month. Google has created this cookie which you can even compare with the data saved on the server logs.

· If you are not sure about the placements then go on the ‘Search by Audience’ tab and you will get the list of placements with all the required metrics.

· You can filter the data by Geography, Language, Demographics, Online Activity, Load Audience, Ranking Method, Ad Items, Category, Ad Specs, & Domain Suffex.

· You can have a graphical view of all the available data or export it to excel to choose the placements of your choice.
