In my previous blog I introduced Adwords and how pay per click goes. After the basics now lets move on to some technical aspects of PPC. Any ad that is displayed on any search engine is only to make profits, no other intention. RIGHT! profits will come in if your products are sold, your products would be sold if they are good and more importantly if they are presented in a decent manner. In such a way that the reader of the text immediately gets an idea what he/she is reading about.
Google gives you four lines with some character limits to explain your products and attract customers, it is upon you how you utilize these lines and make most out of it. You will write the offers you have on the website or the price of the product, be careful this should match the landing page because Google will keep an eye on your ad text and the product available on the landing page. This is called the Relevancy of the keyword with your ad displayed and the product you have on the landing page.
This relevancy will earn more clicks to the ad, increasing your keywords CTR. Did you come to know that I have explained you the two most important points out of the four to achieve good Quality score. The other two are the historical performance of the keyword and there are other miscellaneous factors which Google never discloses.
You always have to keep on refining your account in order to maintain its quality score. Remember you achieve the quality score only on the keyword level hence you have to keep on refining your keyword list. Once you get a good quality score now this would help you get higher positions on the Google's page and that too in much lower CPCs than your competitors, don't forget these savings can add in your profits.
I have a story about quality score which I would share with you the next time.
